ABOUT THE OPTCON PROJECT
We give retired hardware another technical purpose.
OPTCON focuses on buying corporate, server, and network hardware, which may have value even after being decommissioned. We are interested in equipment for service, testing, development, spare parts, and our own AI infrastructure.
What we do
We help companies, warehouses, service centers, IT administrators, collection yards, and liquidation operations to make use of hardware that would otherwise often end up unused. We assess entire servers, components, storage, network elements, as well as damaged or incomplete pieces.
The value can also be inside a damaged device
Even a device that looks non-functional or incomplete may contain usable components: RAM, CPU, drives, controllers, network cards, power supplies, fans, or other parts. Therefore, we recommend not disassembling the hardware and first taking a photo of it and sending it for assessment.
Service, testing, development, and AI infrastructure
We use redeemed hardware within our own technical projects, service processes, testing environments, and AI infrastructure. Thanks to this, we are able to find a purpose even for equipment that typical buyback or disposal often ignores.
